Possible Causes
Shorted LED light module, Open LED driver circuit on control board, Damaged light harness, Faulty door switch causing incorrect light control
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing light covers or panels. LED modules can be sharp at edges.
E15 is related to the interior lighting system.
- Step 1 – Observe light behavior: Note whether the lights are stuck on, off, or flickering when the door is opened and closed.
- Step 2 – Check door switch: Verify that the door switch operates correctly and that the control recognizes door open/close (see E10 steps).
- Step 3 – Inspect LED modules: Remove the light lens or trim and visually inspect the LED boards for burn marks or discoloration.
- Step 4 – Disconnect suspect module: If one module appears damaged, disconnect it and restore power briefly to see if E15 clears and remaining lights function.
- Step 5 – Replace components: Replace any failed LED light modules. If all modules are good but E15 persists, the LED driver circuit on the main control board may be defective and require board replacement.
