How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Disconnect power before opening the control panel.

Steps:

Clean panel surface: Wipe the control panel with a dry cloth to remove any moisture or residue that may interfere with capacitive touch buttons.
Access panel: Remove screws securing the control panel and gently pull it forward.
Check ribbon cable: Ensure the ribbon cable between the touchpad and main board is fully seated and not damaged.
Dry moisture: If condensation is present inside, allow the panel to dry completely before reassembly.
Replace panel: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the Koolatron display/touchpad assembly.

Display works but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently; temperature cannot be adjusted.
