Door does not stay closed or pops open slightly after being shut.

Unplug the cooler if you will be loosening hinges.

Steps:

• Level the unit: Adjust leveling feet so the cooler leans slightly back; this helps the door stay closed.
• Inspect hinges: Check that hinge screws are tight and the door is properly seated on the hinge pins.
• Adjust door: Loosen hinge screws slightly, reposition the door for better alignment, and retighten.
• Check gasket magnet: Run a small metal object along the gasket to feel for magnetic pull. If sections are weak, replace the door gasket.
