Possible Causes
Copper refrigerant lines touching cabinet, Loose compressor mounting grommets, Loose condenser coil, Objects vibrating on top of cooler
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the unit before bending any tubing or tightening mounts.
Steps:
- Remove external items: Take any bottles or objects off the top of the cooler that may be vibrating.
- Check compressor mounts: Inspect the rubber grommets under the compressor. Tighten mounting bolts if loose, but do not overtighten and crush the grommets.
- Separate tubing: Gently bend copper lines away from the cabinet or each other if they are touching and rattling. Use minimal force to avoid kinking.
- Secure condenser: Tighten any loose brackets holding the condenser coil.
