Possible Causes
Sensor located too close to cold plate or door, Sensor not clipped properly, Aging NTC sensor drifting out of spec, Control board calibration offset
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the cooler before moving sensors.
Steps:
- Verify with accurate thermometer: Place a reliable thermometer in the center of the cabinet away from walls and compare readings after several hours of stable operation.
- Adjust sensor position: If the sensor is touching the cold plate or near the door, reposition it to a more central location on the rear wall using the original clip or a new mount.
- Replace sensor: If readings remain significantly off, replace the cabinet temperature sensor.
- Board calibration: Some models allow minor calibration via service mode; consult the service manual. Otherwise, a faulty main control board may need replacement.
