Unit frequently turns on and off in short cycles (short cycling).

Unplug the unit before adjusting sensor placement or accessing the board.

Steps:

• Observe cycling: Note how often the unit turns on and off. Very short cycles (less than a few minutes) are undesirable.
• Reposition sensor: Move the cabinet temperature sensor slightly away from the cold plate or evaporator to reduce rapid temperature swings at the sensor.
• Check power supply: Plug the cooler into a dedicated outlet, avoiding extension cords or power strips that may cause voltage drops.
• Board replacement: If short cycling persists, the main control board relay or logic may be faulty and require replacement.
