Possible Causes

Blocked condensate drain hole, Cracked or misrouted drain tube, Excessive door opening causing condensation, High humidity environment

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Unplug the unit before removing interior panels.

Steps:

  • Locate drain hole: Inside the cabinet, look for a small drain hole or channel at the rear or bottom.
  • Clear blockage: Use a soft pipe cleaner or plastic straw to gently clear any debris or mold from the drain hole.
  • Check drain tube: From the rear, locate the drain tube leading to the drip tray. Ensure it is not kinked or disconnected. Re-seat it if necessary.
  • Empty and clean drip tray: Remove the drip tray above the compressor (if present), empty any water, and clean it.
  • Reduce humidity: Avoid leaving the door open for long periods and ensure the door gasket seals properly to reduce condensation.
