Wine cooler interior light does not turn on, but cooling works normally.

Unplug the unit before working on the light or door switch.

Steps:

• Check light button: Some Koolatron models have a dedicated light on/off button. Ensure it is turned on.
• Inspect door switch: Locate the door switch (usually a small plunger or magnetic reed switch). Press it manually with the door open to see if the light comes on. If not, the switch or light circuit may be faulty.
• Access light assembly: Remove the interior light cover (often clipped or screwed). Check the LED module and its connector.
• Test voltage: With the unit plugged in and door open, carefully measure voltage at the light connector (only if you are comfortable and using insulated probes). If voltage is present but the light is off, replace the LED light assembly.
• Door switch replacement: If there is no voltage and the switch appears damaged or loose, replace the door switch.
