Possible Causes
Aging NTC sensor, Sensor not in correct airflow, Control board calibration offset, Thermometer placement near door or vents
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before moving sensors or panels.
Steps:
- 1. Verify measurement: Place a reliable thermometer in the center of the cabinet away from walls and door. Allow several hours for stabilization.
- 2. Check sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet sensor is mounted in its original location and not touching the evaporator or walls.
- 3. Replace sensor if needed: If the displayed temperature is consistently off by several degrees and the sensor is old, replace the La Sommeliere cabinet NTC sensor.
- 4. Adjust setpoint: If no calibration function exists, compensate by adjusting the setpoint up or down to achieve the desired actual temperature.
