Display shows dF and the unit may pause cooling cycles more frequently.

Note: On some Lanbo models, dF is a normal indication that the unit is in defrost mode. It should clear automatically.

• 1. Wait and observe:
  • Allow 20–40 minutes for the defrost cycle to complete.
  • Check if dF disappears and cooling resumes.
• 2. Check for excessive frost:
  • If dF remains for hours, unplug the unit and inspect the evaporator for heavy ice buildup.
  • Manually defrost if necessary by leaving doors open until all ice melts.
• 3. Inspect defrost sensor:
  • If dF persists or recurs frequently, test and possibly replace the defrost sensor.
• 4. Control board evaluation:
  • If the sensor is good and dF never clears, the main control board may be stuck in defrost and should be replaced by a technician.
