How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Disconnect power before working on lights or fans.
E8 can indicate a fault in one of the accessory circuits controlled by the main board.
- 1. Observe which accessory fails:
- Check if the interior LED light, decorative fan, or other accessory is not working or flickering.
- 2. Inspect LED light module:
- Remove the light cover inside the cabinet.
- Check for burn marks or moisture inside the light housing.
- 3. Disconnect suspect accessory:
- Unplug the LED light or accessory from its connector on the control board.
- Power the unit back on briefly to see if E8 clears (do not touch exposed connectors).
- 4. Replace failed accessory:
- If E8 clears when the accessory is disconnected, replace the Lanbo LED light module or other failed component.
- 5. If E8 persists with all accessories disconnected:
- The main control board accessory driver may be shorted and require replacement.
