Possible Causes

Sensor partially open, Sensor touching evaporator coil, Control board calibration error, Stuck relay causing overcooling

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Disconnect power before adjusting sensors or panels.

L1 indicates the sensor is reading an unusually low temperature or is out of range.

  • 1. Confirm actual temperature:
    • Use a separate thermometer to verify cabinet temperature.
  • 2. Check sensor contact:
    • Remove the interior panel and locate the cabinet sensor.
    • Ensure it is not directly touching the evaporator coil or embedded in ice.
    • Reposition slightly away from the coil if necessary.
  • 3. Inspect for overcooling:
    • If the compressor runs constantly and temperature is too low, the control relay may be stuck.
  • 4. Replace sensor if faulty:
    • If the sensor reads extremely low resistance or open circuit, install a new Lanbo cabinet temperature sensor.
  • 5. If overcooling continues with a good sensor:
    • The main control board may have a stuck compressor relay and should be replaced.
