Excessive frost or ice buildup on the back wall or around the evaporator cover.

Unplug the unit and remove all bottles before defrosting.

• 1. Manual defrost:
  • Open the door and allow all ice to melt naturally.
  • Use towels to absorb water; do not chip ice with sharp tools.
• 2. Inspect door gasket:
  • Check for gaps or tears in the door gasket and replace if necessary.
• 3. Clear drain:
  • Locate the defrost drain hole below the evaporator.
  • Use a small brush or pipe cleaner to clear any blockage.
• 4. Test defrost heater and sensor:
  • Access the evaporator area and measure resistance of the defrost heater and defrost sensor.
  • Replace any open or shorted components.
• 5. If frost returns quickly:
  • The main control board may not be initiating defrost cycles properly and may need replacement.
