How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Unplug the unit before tightening or adjusting components.
- 1. Level the cabinet:
- Use a level and adjust the front legs so the cooler is stable and does not rock.
- 2. Check for external vibrations:
- Ensure the cooler is not touching cabinets or walls that can amplify noise.
- 3. Inspect condenser fan:
- Remove the rear panel and check the condenser fan blades for contact with wiring or shrouds.
- Bend wires away and tighten fan mounting screws.
- 4. Check interior fan:
- Remove interior rear panel and ensure the evaporator fan is not hitting ice or loose insulation.
- 5. Compressor mounts:
- Verify the compressor mounting bolts and rubber grommets are intact and snug.
- 6. Replace worn fans:
- If a fan motor is noisy even when unobstructed, replace the Lanbo evaporator fan motor or condenser fan motor.
