Wine cooler runs continuously and gets too cold; bottles may have frost or ice.

Disconnect power before accessing sensors or the control board.

• 1. Check temperature setting:
  • Verify the setpoint is not at the lowest possible value unless intentionally chilling very cold.
• 2. Inspect door seal:
  • Ensure the door gasket is sealing; warm air leaks can cause the sensor to call for constant cooling.
• 3. Test temperature sensor:
  • Access the cabinet sensor and measure resistance at known temperatures.
  • If readings are out of spec, replace the cabinet temperature sensor.
• 4. Evaluate control board:
  • If the compressor never shuts off even when the cabinet is very cold and the sensor is good, the main control board relay may be stuck closed and should be replaced.
