Possible Causes
Open or shorted lower temperature sensor (NTC), Damaged lower sensor harness, Loose connector at main control board, Failed main control board input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the wine cooler before service.
- Verify zone: Confirm that E2 corresponds to the lower compartment on your Lanbopro model (check user manual if available).
- Access lower sensor: Inside the lower compartment, locate the sensor cover on the rear or side wall. Remove the cover and gently pull out the sensor probe.
- Visual inspection: Check the sensor lead for abrasions, pinches behind shelves, or ice buildup around the probe. Remove any ice with a warm cloth; do not chip with sharp tools.
- Check board connection: Remove the rear service panel and locate the main control board. Ensure the lower sensor connector is firmly attached and not oxidized.
- Replace sensor: If wiring and connections look good but E2 remains, install a new lower temperature sensor (NTC) designed for Lanbopro wine coolers.
- Replace control board if needed: If a new sensor does not resolve the error, replace the main control board.
