Possible Causes
Failed evaporator fan motor, Ice obstructing fan blades, Loose fan wiring harness, Faulty main control board fan driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the wine cooler before accessing the interior fan.
- Access evaporator fan: Remove shelves and the interior rear panel to expose the evaporator and fan assembly.
- Check for ice blockage: Look for ice buildup around the fan blades. If present, allow the unit to defrost fully. Do not pry ice off the blades.
- Spin the fan by hand: With power disconnected, gently rotate the fan blades. If they are stiff or seized, the evaporator fan motor is likely bad.
- Inspect wiring: Verify the fan motor connector is firmly attached and wires are not damaged.
- Test operation: After reassembling, briefly power the unit and observe if the fan runs when the compressor is on. Unplug again before further work.
- Replace fan motor: If the fan does not run or is noisy/seized, replace the evaporator fan motor with a Lanbopro-compatible part.
- Control board: If a new fan does not run and E6 remains, the main control board may be defective.
