Possible Causes
Defective magnetic door switch, Misaligned door magnet, Broken door switch wiring, Faulty main control board input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working around the door frame wiring.
- Identify door switch type: Many Lanbopro wine coolers use a magnetic reed switch in the cabinet frame and a magnet in the door.
- Check door alignment: Ensure the door closes squarely and the magnet lines up with the switch area. Adjust door hinges if the door is sagging.
- Test light behavior: With power on, open and close the door to see if the interior light turns on/off consistently. Then unplug before further work.
- Inspect switch and wiring: Remove the inner trim near the switch location. Check the door switch and its wiring for damage or loose connections.
- Replace faulty switch or magnet: If the switch is cracked or the magnet is missing/loose, replace the door switch assembly or resecure/replace the door magnet.
- Control board check: If the switch and magnet are good but E7 persists, the main control board may have a faulty input circuit.
