Possible Causes
Upper zone sensor failure, Upper zone damper or fan issue, Loose wiring to upper zone components, Main control board upper channel failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before servicing.
- Sensor check: Follow E1 procedures to inspect and, if needed, replace the upper temperature sensor.
- Upper fan/damper: On some dual-zone Lanbopro models, a small fan or damper moves cold air to the upper zone. Access the upper rear panel and verify the upper zone circulation fan runs and the damper (if present) is not stuck.
- Wiring inspection: Check harnesses from the upper zone components to the main control board for loose or damaged wires.
- Control board: If sensors and fans are good but F1 persists, replace the main control board.
