How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooler before defrosting. Do not use sharp tools to remove ice.
- Manual defrost: Remove all bottles and shelves. Leave the door open and allow all ice to melt naturally. Use towels to absorb water.
- Inspect gasket: Check the door gasket for cracks or gaps. Close the door on a sheet of paper; if it pulls out easily, the gasket may need replacement.
- Check door alignment: Adjust hinges so the door closes evenly and fully.
- Defrost sensor: If frost quickly returns, inspect and replace the evaporator/defrost temperature sensor as described under E4.
