Possible Causes
Faulty compressor start relay or overload, Failed main control board, Open thermal fuse in wiring harness, Defective compressor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the cooler before any disassembly.
- Check power: Confirm the outlet has power by testing with another appliance. Ensure any wall switches or breakers are on.
- Control panel: Verify the unit is turned on and not in standby mode.
- Rear inspection: Remove the rear lower panel and listen/feel for the compressor attempting to start when powered. If it clicks and stops, suspect the start relay/overload.
- Replace start relay/overload: With power disconnected, remove the relay/overload from the compressor terminals and install a Lanbopro-compatible compressor start relay/overload assembly.
- Control board: If the compressor never receives power, test and replace the main control board as needed. If the compressor hums loudly and overheats even with a new relay, the compressor may be locked and requires professional replacement.
