• 2. Order correct gasket: Use the full LG model number to obtain the exact replacement gasket.
• 3. Remove old gasket: Gently pull the gasket out of its retaining channel or remove screws/clips if used.
• 4. Install new gasket: Press the new gasket evenly into the channel, ensuring corners are fully seated. If screwed, start with corners then sides.
• 5. Warm and form: Close the door and use a hair dryer on low to gently warm the gasket, allowing it to conform to the frame. Do not overheat.
• 6. Check seal: Use the paper test around the door to confirm a uniform seal.
