Possible Causes
Unit not level, Compressor or condenser fan mounting loose, Tubing or wiring touching cabinet panels, Shelves or bottles rattling against each other
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before tightening screws or adjusting internal components.
Steps:
- Level the cabinet: Use a bubble level on the top of the cooler. Adjust the front leveling legs until the unit is stable and does not rock.
- Rearrange bottles: Ensure bottles are not touching the cabinet walls or each other in a way that can cause rattling. Use shelf rails properly.
- Check rear components: Remove the rear panel and inspect the compressor, condenser fan, and tubing. Tighten any loose mounting screws.
- Isolate tubing: If copper or aluminum lines are touching the cabinet and vibrating, insert foam or rubber spacers between the tubing and metal surfaces.
- Inspect fan blades: Make sure the condenser and evaporator fan blades are not hitting shrouds or wires. Bend shrouds slightly or reposition wires as needed.
- Reinstall rear panel securely: A loose rear cover can buzz; ensure all screws are installed and snug.
