Possible Causes

Shorted LED light module, Failed light driver circuit on main board, Incorrect door switch signal, Wiring short in light circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before working on lighting or door circuits. LED drivers operate at mains or high DC voltage.

F10 is associated with interior lighting or door logic errors.

  • 1. Observe light behavior:
    • Check if the interior light stays on with the door closed or never turns on with the door open.
  • 2. Check door switch function:
    • Verify that the door contact switch correctly signals open/closed (see F7 procedure).
  • 3. Inspect LED module:
    • Locate the interior LED light module(s) in the cabinet ceiling or side walls.
    • Check for discoloration, burn marks, or flickering.
  • 4. Disconnect suspect light module:
    • With power off, unplug the LED module from its connector.
    • Restore power briefly to see if F10 clears (do not leave panels open unattended).
  • 5. Replace faulty LED module:
    • If F10 clears when the module is disconnected, replace the LED light module with the correct Miele part.
  • 6. Control board check: If lights and door switch are good but F10 persists, the light driver on the main control board may be defective and requires board replacement by a technician.
