Possible Causes
Defective NTC sensor in upper or lower zone, Broken sensor wiring, Corroded connector at zone interface, Faulty sensor input on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing interior panels or accessing wiring.
F15 indicates a temperature sensor fault in one of the wine cooler’s zones.
- 1. Determine which zone is affected:
- Check which zone shows dashes or abnormal readings.
- 2. Locate the zone sensor:
- Find the small sensor cover on the wall of the affected zone.
- Remove the cover to access the NTC sensor.
- 3. Inspect and test:
- Check the sensor and wiring for damage or moisture.
- Disconnect and measure resistance at room temperature; open or shorted readings indicate failure.
- 4. Replace the sensor:
- Order the correct Miele zone temperature sensor for your model and zone.
- Install in the same location and route wiring as original.
- 5. Check connectors at control board:
- Reseat the zone sensor connector on the main PCB.
- 6. If F15 remains with a new sensor: The control board’s sensor channel may be defective and should be replaced by a professional.
