Display shows F17 and the unit may not power up fully; display may flicker or reset.

F17 indicates a power supply or low-voltage condition.

• 1. Check the outlet:
  • Plug another appliance into the same outlet to verify stable power.
  • Avoid using extension cords or multi-plug adapters.
• 2. Inspect mains cord and plug:
  • Check for damage, kinks, or burn marks on the power cord.
• 3. Access internal power connections:
  • Remove the rear or lower panel to access the mains terminal block and line filter (if present).
  • Ensure all screws are tight and there are no signs of overheating.
• 4. Control board power supply:
  • If external connections are fine, the internal power supply on the main board may be failing.
  • Look for bulging capacitors or burnt components.
• 5. Replace faulty components:
  • If the line filter or mains terminal block is damaged, replace with the correct Miele part.
  • If the board’s power supply is defective, replace the main control board via a professional technician.
