Interior light does not turn on when the door is opened, but the unit cools normally.

• 1. Check door switch:
  • Verify that the display recognizes door open/closed (if indicated).
  • If not, test and replace the door contact switch.
• 2. Inspect LED module:
  • Remove the light cover and check for visible damage or discoloration.
  • Ensure the connector is firmly seated.
• 3. Replace LED module:
  • If the module is dark and the switch works, install a new Miele interior LED light module.
• 4. Control board: If a new light and switch do not restore lighting, the light driver on the main board may be faulty and requires professional replacement.
