Possible Causes
Failed display backlight LEDs, Loose UI power connector, Faulty low-voltage regulator on UI board, Main control board not supplying correct voltage to UI
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing the control panel or boards.
- Check for faint display: Shine a flashlight at an angle on the display. If you can see numbers faintly, the backlight has failed.
- Inspect UI connections: Remove the control panel and verify that all connectors are secure.
- Test low-voltage supply: If qualified, measure the DC voltage supplied to the UI from the main board. If missing, the main board may be faulty.
- Replace UI or board: Replace the UI if the backlight or display driver has failed. If the UI is good but not receiving power, replace the main control board.
Cooling can continue without a display, but temperature adjustments will be difficult; repair is recommended.
