Possible Causes
Loose compressor mounting hardware, Loose condenser coil or bracket, Bottles or racks vibrating against each other, Internal compressor wear
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before tightening any hardware.
- Secure internal items: Rearrange bottles and racks so they are not touching the cabinet walls or each other excessively. Use rack dividers if provided.
- Check compressor mounts: Access the rear compartment and verify that the compressor mounting bolts and rubber grommets are intact. Tighten loose bolts gently.
- Inspect condenser coil: Ensure the condenser coil is firmly attached to its brackets and not free to vibrate. Tighten screws or add foam padding where needed.
- Panel resonance: Press on the rear panel while the unit is running to see if the noise changes. If so, add additional screws or vibration-damping material.
If the noise is clearly internal to the compressor and worsening, consult a professional for compressor evaluation.
