Compressor or Condenser Fan Noise
Wine cooler makes loud humming or buzzing noise from the rear while running.

Possible Causes
Vibrating compressor mounting, Loose condenser fan shroud or blades, Unit not leveled causing vibration, Copper tubing contacting cabinet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before touching any moving parts or metal tubing.
- Level the cabinet: Use a level to ensure the wine cooler is square front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust leveling legs as needed.
- Check rear components: Remove the rear access panel and inspect the compressor mounts. Tighten any loose mounting bolts, but do not overtighten rubber grommets.
- Inspect condenser fan: Ensure the fan blades are not rubbing against the shroud or wiring. Bend the shroud slightly if needed to clear the blades.
- Secure tubing: Look for copper refrigerant lines touching the cabinet or each other. Gently reposition and add foam sleeves or clips to prevent rattling.
- Test noise: Restore power and listen while gently pressing on panels or components to identify the source. Secure any vibrating panels with additional screws or insulation tape.
If the compressor itself is internally noisy (knocking or metallic sounds), it may be failing and require professional replacement.
