Wine cooler door not closing properly or popping open

Safety: Ensure the unit is unplugged if you need to move it significantly.

• Level cabinet: Adjust the front leveling feet until the cooler is slightly tilted back so the door closes by itself from a partially open position.
• Check hinge screws: Tighten upper and lower hinge screws. If the door is reversible, ensure hinge components are correctly installed.
• Inspect gasket: Warm the gasket with a hairdryer (low setting) and gently reshape any twisted sections so they lie flat.
• Replace gasket or hinges: If the door is warped or the gasket no longer seals, replace with Montpellier-specific parts.
