Possible Causes
Fan blade hitting ice or wiring, Loose fan mounting screws, Shelves or bottles vibrating against each other, Internal panel not secured
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing interior panels or touching the fan.
- Check shelves and bottles: Rearrange bottles so they do not touch the cabinet walls. Ensure shelves are fully seated in their rails.
- Access fan: Remove the interior rear panel to expose the evaporator fan. Inspect for ice build-up around the fan and clear it carefully with warm (not hot) water and a cloth.
- Secure wiring: Ensure no wires are hanging into the fan path. Use cable ties or clips to keep them clear.
- Tighten fan screws: Tighten any loose screws on the fan housing or motor bracket.
- Replace damaged fan: If the fan blade is cracked or the motor shaft is loose, replace the evaporator fan motor assembly with a Montpellier-compatible part.
