Wine cooler runs but does not reach set temperature, only slightly cool inside

Safety: Unplug before cleaning or removing panels. Do not attempt to open the sealed refrigeration system yourself.

• Clean condenser: On compressor-based Montpellier models, remove dust and lint from the condenser coil and rear grille with a brush and vacuum. Ensure adequate ventilation space.
• Check door seal and loading: Make sure the door gasket seals properly and the cabinet is not overloaded, blocking internal airflow.
• Monitor run time: If the compressor runs almost continuously and the unit never reaches set temperature despite a clean condenser and good seal, a sealed system issue is likely.
• Professional service: Loss of refrigerant, blocked capillary, or weak compressor require specialized tools and must be handled by an F-gas certified refrigeration technician. Replacement of the wine cooler may be more economical for small units.
