Possible Causes
Worn or deformed door gasket, High ambient humidity around the unit, Door not closing fully, Failed door heater (on models with heated glass)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks; unplug only if adjusting door or gasket.
- Check door closure: Ensure shelves or bottles are not preventing the door from sealing fully.
- Inspect gasket: Look for cracks, hard spots, or gaps between the gasket and cabinet. Warm the gasket gently with a hair dryer and reshape if slightly deformed.
- Replace gasket: If the seal is damaged, remove the old gasket from its channel and press in a new mQuvée door gasket evenly around the frame.
- Ambient humidity: In very humid rooms, some condensation is normal. Improve room ventilation or use a dehumidifier.
- Door heater (if equipped): If the glass is unusually cold and fogs heavily, the door heater may have failed. This requires testing and replacement by a technician.
