Possible Causes
Sensor not located in representative air stream, Sensor touching cold evaporator surface, Control board calibration drift, User thermometer placement near door or light
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting sensor placement.
- Verify with multiple thermometers: Use at least two accurate thermometers placed in the middle of the cabinet away from walls and door.
- Sensor placement: Ensure the cabinet sensor is mounted where air circulates freely, not directly on the evaporator or near the door.
- Reposition sensor: If necessary, gently move the sensor slightly away from very cold surfaces while keeping it secured.
- PCB replacement: If a consistent offset remains and affects storage, the main control PCB may require replacement.
