Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between touch panel and main PCB, Damaged touch control PCB, Moisture ingress behind control panel, Faulty main control PCB communication circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or door trim.

  • Inspect control area: Check for visible condensation or water droplets around the display and touch keys. Dry the area thoroughly with a soft cloth.
  • Access control PCB: Remove the interior trim or front bezel around the display (usually clipped or lightly screwed). Carefully pull the control panel forward.
  • Check ribbon cable: Ensure the flat ribbon cable or harness between the user interface and main PCB is fully seated and not kinked or damaged.
  • Clean contacts: If corrosion is present, gently clean the connector contacts with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely.
  • Re-seat and secure: Reconnect the cable firmly and route it so it is not pinched when reassembling the panel.
  • Test operation: Restore power and test all buttons and display functions. If E10 persists, the user interface PCB may need replacement.
  • PCB replacement: Replace the touch control PCB with the exact mQuvée part number. If replacing the main control PCB, transfer any configuration jumpers or DIP switch settings as per service documentation.
