Possible Causes
Misaligned magnetic door switch, Failed reed switch on cabinet frame, Broken door switch wiring, Faulty door input circuit on main control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before working around the door switch wiring.
- Check door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and the gasket is not obstructed by shelves or bottles.
- Locate door sensor: On many mQuvée models, a magnetic reed switch is mounted in the cabinet frame with a magnet in the door.
- Alignment: Verify that the magnet in the door lines up directly with the reed switch when closed. Adjust the door or switch position slightly if needed.
- Test with magnet: With the door open and power on, place a small magnet over the reed switch location. If the alarm stops and E11 clears, the door magnet is weak or misaligned; replace or reposition it.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the inner trim to access the switch wiring. Repair any broken or loose connections.
- Replace switch: If the reed switch does not respond to a magnet, replace it with a compatible mQuvée door switch.
- PCB fault: If a new switch and magnet do not resolve E11, the main control PCB door input may be defective and require replacement.
