Possible Causes

Failed humidity sensor, Disconnected humidity sensor harness, Faulty humidifier module (if equipped), Defective main control PCB humidity input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal sensors or humidifier components.

  • Locate humidity sensor: Typically mounted on the interior wall or ceiling, sometimes in a small vented housing.
  • Inspect sensor and wiring: Ensure the sensor housing is intact and the wiring is not damaged or corroded.
  • Clean sensor area: Wipe away any condensation or mineral deposits with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
  • Check connections: From the rear, trace the sensor harness to the main PCB and reseat the connector.
  • Humidifier module (if present): Inspect any water reservoir or cartridge for leaks or blockages. Replace cartridges as recommended by mQuvée.
  • Replace sensor: If readings are clearly incorrect or E13 persists, replace the humidity sensor with the correct part.
  • PCB replacement: If a new sensor does not resolve the issue, the main control PCB may need replacement by a technician.
