Possible Causes
Failed humidity sensor module, Disconnected or corroded sensor wiring, Moisture damage to sensor housing, Faulty main control PCB humidity input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal panels.
Steps to address E11:
- Locate humidity sensor: On Neff models with humidity control, the sensor is often located on the interior side wall or near the air outlet grill.
- Inspect sensor: Check for visible corrosion, water droplets inside the sensor housing, or physical damage.
- Dry and clean: Wipe away condensation and allow the sensor area to dry completely. Ensure the door gasket is sealing properly to reduce excess moisture ingress.
- Check wiring: Verify that the sensor connector is firmly attached to the harness and main PCB.
- Replace sensor: If E11 persists, replace the humidity sensor with a Neff-compatible part. If the error remains after replacement, the main control PCB may be at fault and should be checked by a technician.
