Possible Causes
Failed LED light module, Faulty door switch or reed sensor, Loose light wiring connector, Control board not powering light circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before working on lighting or switches.
Steps to restore lighting:
- Check door switch: Locate the door switch or magnetic sensor. Manually operate it (press the plunger or place a magnet near the reed switch) and see if the light comes on.
- Inspect LED module: Remove the light cover and check for burn marks or water ingress. Reseat the connector.
- Replace LED: If the module is dark and has supply voltage (checked by a technician), replace it with a Neff-compatible LED assembly.
- Control issue: If both switch and LED are good, the main PCB may not be powering the light circuit and may need replacement.
