• Control board suspicion: If the compressor never receives power (verified by a technician with a meter), the main control PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
• Do not open refrigerant lines: If the compressor hums loudly and then stops, the compressor itself may be seized and must be replaced by a certified technician.
