• 2. Check sensor placement: Ensure the thermistor is not directly on the evaporator plate or in the coldest corner. Reposition slightly if possible.
• 3. Test thermistor: Measure resistance and compare to expected values. Replace if shorted or out of range.
• 4. Inspect control board: If the cooling circuit remains energized even when the set temperature is reached, the relay on the main control board may be stuck closed. Replace the board.
