Display shows E6 and the control panel may be unresponsive or buttons do not work correctly.

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or touching any internal wiring.

• Power cycle: Unplug the cooler for 5–10 minutes, then plug it back in. If E6 returns or buttons remain unresponsive, continue.
• Access control panel: Remove screws securing the top/front control panel or door trim. Carefully pull the panel forward to expose the display PCB and ribbon cables.
• Inspect ribbon cable: Check the flat ribbon cable or harness connecting the display to the main control board. Ensure it is fully inserted and not kinked or damaged.
• Clean connectors: If you see light corrosion, disconnect the cable and gently clean the contacts with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the board.
• Check for moisture: Look for condensation or water marks inside the control panel area. If present, dry the area thoroughly and verify that the door gasket is sealing properly to prevent future moisture ingress.
• Replace control PCB if needed: If the panel is physically damaged or still unresponsive, replace the "Phiestina control panel/display board". Transfer any mounting brackets, reconnect all cables, and reinstall the panel.
• Test: Restore power and verify that the E6 code is cleared and that all buttons and indicators function normally.
