Display shows E7 and the internal fan may not run; temperature may be uneven inside the cabinet.

Safety warning: Unplug the wine cooler before working inside the cabinet. Fan blades can start unexpectedly if power is applied.

• Listen for fan operation: With the door closed and unit running (before unplugging), listen for the evaporator fan behind the interior rear panel. If silent or intermittent, proceed.
• Access the fan: Remove shelves and the interior rear panel to expose the evaporator coil and fan assembly.
• Check for ice or obstructions: Inspect the fan blades for ice buildup, labels, or wires blocking rotation. If ice is present, defrost the unit fully by unplugging and allowing ice to melt. Do not chip ice with tools.
• Inspect wiring: Ensure the fan motor wires are intact and the connector is firmly attached to the motor and to the main control board at the rear of the unit.
• Spin test: Gently spin the fan blades by hand. They should rotate freely without grinding or stiffness. If the motor is seized or noisy, it should be replaced.
• Replace fan motor: Order a "Phiestina evaporator fan motor" for your model. Remove the mounting screws, disconnect the old motor, and install the new one, reusing the fan blade if separate. Route wires away from moving parts.
• Reassemble and test: Reinstall the interior panel, plug the unit back in, and confirm that the fan runs and the E7 code is cleared.
