Safety warning: Disconnect power before removing interior panels or touching fans.

Identify affected zone: Note which zone is not maintaining temperature correctly.
Access divider area: Remove shelves and any center divider cover or duct panel between the upper and lower zones.
Inspect inter-zone fan: Many dual-zone Phiestina models use a small fan to move air between zones. Check for obstructions, ice, or broken blades.
Check wiring: Ensure the fan connector is secure and wires are not pinched.
Defrost if iced: If ice is present around the divider or duct, unplug the unit and allow it to fully defrost. Dry the area before reassembly.
Replace fan if faulty: If the fan does not spin freely or fails to run when powered, replace it with a "Phiestina inter-zone circulation fan".
Reassemble and test: Reinstall divider covers, restore power, and verify that F3 clears and both zones stabilize at their set temperatures.

Display shows F3 and one zone of the dual-zone cooler is significantly warmer or colder than setpoint.
