Possible Causes
Door left open or not sealing, Failed compressor or low refrigerant charge, Blocked condenser airflow, Faulty cabinet temperature sensor reading high
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not store valuable wine in a unit that cannot maintain temperature. Unplug before internal inspections.
- Check door and gasket: Ensure the door is fully closing and the gasket is clean and undamaged. Look for gaps, warped door, or items blocking closure.
- Verify ventilation: Confirm that front or rear vents are not blocked and that the cooler has proper clearance. Clean dust from the condenser grille.
- Listen for compressor and fans: With the unit plugged in, verify that the compressor and both fans (evaporator and condenser) are running. If they are not, refer to compressor or fan fault scenarios.
- Allow recovery time: If the door was left open or the unit was recently loaded with warm bottles, allow 12–24 hours for temperature to stabilize. The H1 alarm may clear automatically.
- Check temperature sensor: If the interior feels cool but the display shows very high temperature, the cabinet sensor may be faulty. Inspect and replace the "Cabinet temperature sensor" as described in the E1 scenario.
- Seek professional help if no cooling: If the compressor runs but the cabinet does not cool after several hours, the sealed refrigeration system may have a leak or restriction, requiring a certified technician.
