How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
- 1. Power reset: Unplug the wine cooler for 5 minutes, then plug back in to reset the electronics.
- 2. Dry the panel: If condensation or a spill occurred, allow the panel to dry completely before further testing.
- 3. Remove and inspect UI board: Carefully remove the control panel trim and access the user interface board. Check for corrosion or cracks.
- 4. Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the UI and main PCB. Ensure it is straight and fully inserted.
- 5. Replace UI board: If specific buttons never work or the board is damaged, replace the control panel/user interface assembly.
