Display shows E7 and the fan inside the Samsung wine cooler may not run or may run erratically.

Safety first: Disconnect power before working inside the cabinet or near moving fan blades.

• 1. Check for airflow: With the unit powered (before unplugging), open the door and listen for the evaporator fan. Some models stop the fan when the door is open; press the door switch to simulate a closed door and listen for fan operation.
• 2. Inspect for ice blockage: If there is frost around the rear panel, unplug the unit and remove shelves and the inner rear panel. Look for ice buildup around the fan and clear it by allowing it to melt. Do not chip ice with sharp tools.
• 3. Spin the fan by hand: With power off, gently rotate the fan blades. If they are stiff or jammed, the motor may be failing and should be replaced.
• 4. Check wiring: Inspect the fan harness and connector for loose pins or damage. Reseat the connector at both the fan and the main PCB.
• 5. Test fan motor: Measure resistance across the fan motor leads. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace with a Samsung-compatible evaporator fan motor.
• 6. Main PCB diagnosis: If the fan motor tests good but never receives voltage when it should be running, the main control board may have a defective fan driver circuit.

Note: Proper airflow is critical for even cooling; always reinstall all panels and ducting after service.
