How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the unit is unplugged before inspecting electrical heaters or wiring.

1. Check room conditions: Measure ambient humidity. In very humid environments, some exterior condensation can be normal.
2. Inspect gasket: Ensure the door gasket seals properly to minimize cold air leakage that can chill the outer surfaces.
3. Verify door heater (if present): Some Samsung models have a mullion or door frame heater. If the frame feels very cold and sweats, the heater may have failed. Access wiring per the service manual and test for continuity.
4. Improve ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow around the unit and avoid enclosing it tightly in cabinetry.

Note: Using a dehumidifier in the room can reduce both interior and exterior condensation.
