Display shows E13; interior light remains on or off incorrectly, and door status seems wrong.

Safety first: Disconnect power before testing the door switch circuit.

Steps to address E13:

• Manually test switch: With the unit unplugged, access the door switch and test continuity with a multimeter while actuating it. It should change state (open/close) reliably.
• Inspect wiring: Look for pinched or shorted wires around the door frame and hinge area.
• Confirm correct part: If the switch was recently replaced, verify that the correct Siemens part number and sensor type (NO/NC or Hall) was used.
• Replace switch: If the switch is intermittent or stuck, install a new door switch / sensor.

If E13 remains, the main PCB may misinterpret the door signal and should be replaced by a technician.
